ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
The NTPA 2026 Summer Stock Internship Program offers aspiring theatre artists the opportunity to:
- Perform in two mainstage musical productions (West Side Story and Disney's Frozen) alongside other Summer Stock actors and professionals from the DFW community.
- Serve as summer camp instructors, gaining hands-on teaching experience while inspiring the next generation of theatre enthusiasts together with other activities.
- Perform in NTPA’s Theatre for Young Audiences production.
- May also gain experience working with NTPA’s Starcatchers (theatre for disabled youth and adults with special needs) and Deaf Theatre programs.

- Full-time College Internship Opportunity
- Multiple internship positions available
- Up to $4,000 stipend
- Housing will be provided for out-of-town actors

QUALIFICATIONS
- Participation (or recent graduate) in a college/university level acting, voice and/or dance program.
- Reliable, positive attitude and a team player
- Desire to work with youth and serve as a role model
- Leadership skills both on and off stage
AUDITIONS
Submission Deadline: March 16, 2026
Callbacks: Week of March 30th by invitation only (Zoom or in-person)
There is no preference given to in-person callback applicants.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
- Resume: include your college/university, degree program, expected graduation date, experience and hometown.
- Color Headshot: JPEG or PNG
- Vocal Audition: One 32-bar cut of a contemporary Broadway song and one 32-bar cut of a Golden Age Broadway song. Ideally one selection is upbeat and the other a ballad.
You will not be penalized for going a few measures over or under. - Monologue: One-minute monologue of your choosing. Prefer no classical text.
- Dance: One-minute video that highlights your dance skills.
This may be a dance reel or production footage. - Interview: Please provide a video of you answering the following questions:
- a) Why do you want to be a part of NTPA Summer Stock Internship Program, and how will you connect with the community we serve?
- b) What do you hope to gain as a part of NTPA Summer Stock Internship Program as you begin your career?
